Novartis R&D efforts are driven by the need to enhance human health and well-being. At NIBR, we have developed a research strategy that addresses both common and rare diseases and we work together with the Novartis Institute for Tropical Diseases that seeks to treat diseases that plague the developing world. Our Translational Medicine group creates a close relationship between bench research and what happens in clinics, hospitals and doctors’ offices.
