The Summer Internship Program in Emeryville is a paid, 40-hour per week, 10-12 week program (June-August) for students enrolled at an accredited university. Interns work on a project under the guidance of an NIBR Project Mentor in a variety of laboratory settings in our Emeryville Oncology and Chemistry departments.

Components of the program include a meet/greet luncheon with other intern/mentors and informal bi-weekly meetings to share experiences, network and hear from seasoned professionals within the greater Novartis organization. In addition, interns will attend and present at a weekly intern journal club and present their research at the end of the summer.

Eligibility requirements:

• Applicants must have completed their sophomore year in college by the summer of the year they are applying for.
• Applicants must be able to start at the beginning of the program and work regular workdays for 10-12 consecutive weeks.
• Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States.
