The Summer Internship Program in Emeryville is a paid, 40-hour per week, 10-12 week program (June-August) for students enrolled at an accredited university. Interns work on a project under the guidance of an NIBR Project Mentor in a variety of laboratory settings in our Emeryville Oncology and Chemistry departments.
Components of the program include a meet/greet luncheon with other intern/mentors and informal bi-weekly meetings to share experiences, network and hear from seasoned professionals within the greater Novartis organization. In addition, interns will attend and present at a weekly intern journal club and present their research at the end of the summer.
Eligibility requirements:

Applicants must have completed their sophomore year in college by the summer of the year they are applying for.

Applicants must be able to start at the beginning of the program and work regular workdays for 10-12 consecutive weeks.

Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States.
